Multichannel Singular Spectrum Analysis (MSSA) is a powerful noise attenuation technology that exploits the spatial redundancy of data. Incoherent noise is attenuated by thresholding the singular values of data embedded in structured matrices.

SLIP-SWEEP NOISE REMOVAL

In the slip-sweep acquisition method, successive Vibroseis sweeps are delayed by a time which is shorter than the total sweep, but sufficient to allow for an appropriate “listen” time corresponding to the trace length after correlation.
